What SynergyPartners does, how engagements work (from assessment to agent builds and orchestration), what MuSIC is, and how enterprises govern and prove AI-driven decisions.

01FREQUENTLY ASKED

The Company

What does SynergyPartners.AI do?

SynergyPartners helps enterprises make AI actually work: we assess AI maturity and readiness, align leadership through executive workshops, design AI operating models and Decision Domains, build agents and enterprise integrations, orchestrate agents and people into governed workflows, govern the decisions those systems make, and continuously improve the results. Every engagement is powered by MuSIC™, our proprietary Decision Control Plane for AI™, which keeps the system of record for every consequential decision.

Are you a consulting firm or a software company?

Deliberately both, and the combination is the point. The transformation practice delivers value customers can fund today: assessments, workshops, architecture, agent builds, and orchestration engagements. The platform, MuSIC, installs beneath that work as the system of record for the decisions it touches, and becomes more valuable with every Decision Domain it governs. Services create near-term outcomes; the platform makes them compound.

Do you build AI agents?

Yes. We design and implement enterprise agents around defined business outcomes, including the engineering that makes them real in an enterprise: data access, security boundaries, testing, deployment, and instrumentation. We build production systems, not pilots: an agent that cannot survive your change-management, audit, and operations processes is not finished.

Do you develop MCPs and integrations?

Yes. We develop MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and connectors so agents can safely reach your systems of record, and we build enterprise integrations with commercial platforms and custom applications alike. Integration work is where most agent programs stall; we treat it as first-class engineering, not an afterthought.

How does SynergyPartners work with Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Twilio, and custom applications?

As integration targets, vendor-neutrally. Your agents and Decision Domains need to read from and act on the platforms you already run: CRM, ITSM, data cloud, communications, and your own applications. We build the MCP servers, connectors, and integrations that connect them, and MuSIC records and governs the decisions that flow across them. You do not need to replace your existing platforms; the decision layer sits above them.

Can we begin with an assessment or workshop?

That is how most engagements begin. The AI Readiness Assessment (AIMM-360™) benchmarks your maturity and returns a ranked roadmap; the Executive Decision Economy Workshop aligns leadership on priorities, ownership, and an action plan. Both stand on their own, and both tell you exactly what to do next, whether or not you do it with us.

How do engagements become recurring platform deployments?

Every engagement centers on decisions worth governing, and those decisions need a home. When an agent build or orchestration engagement goes live, MuSIC arrives inside it as the system of record: registry, policy, authority, evidence. Each subsequent Decision Domain reuses the policies, integrations, and evidence of the ones before it, so the platform expands domain by domain rather than through a big-bang platform sale.

The Platform: MuSIC

What is MuSIC?

MuSIC™ is the Decision Control Plane for AI™, governing execution while creating the system of record for every consequential decision. Every critical decision combines authority, policy, evidence, business intent, execution, and outcome; MuSIC makes those explicit, governed, observable, measurable, and independently provable. Its surfaces include the Decision Room, Decision Registry, Decision Policy, Decision Authority, Decision Workbench, and Decision Evidence, sealed by Cryptographic Decision Lineage (CDL™).

How is MuSIC different from agent frameworks and AI-governance platforms?

Agent frameworks help you script agents; AI-governance platforms monitor models and policies from the outside. MuSIC operates a layer above both: it governs, orchestrates, and proves the business decision that agents, models, and people participate in. The decision is registered before it runs, gated by policy at runtime, authorized through a chain that ends at a named human, executed as a governed flow, and sealed into a verifiable record, including the refusals.

What is agent orchestration?

Coordinating agents, people, and enterprise systems so an end-to-end business process actually completes, with approvals, exceptions, and policy enforced along the way. In MuSIC, orchestration runs on the MuSIC runtime through Songs: governed decision choreographies that define which agents act, which humans approve, which systems are touched, and where edge cases escalate. Every step lands in the decision record, so orchestration is something you can answer for, not just automate.

What is a Decision Domain?

One important enterprise decision, made explicit and operational: what is decided, who owns it, what policies constrain it, what evidence it requires, which systems and agents participate, and what measurable outcome it exists to produce. Decision Domains are how the work lands: each engagement typically designs, builds, and governs one, and each new domain reuses what the previous ones installed.

Does MuSIC replace human decision makers?

No. Agents may act within an explicitly delegated mandate, but authority chains end at a named human, escalation paths are fixed in the runtime, and sensitive decisions route to the accountable person with full context. When policy says no, the platform refuses and cites the rule by name. The enterprise gets coordinated execution at scale without surrendering operational control.

What is Cryptographic Decision Lineage (CDL)?

CDL™ is a tamper-evident record of every governed decision: what was decided, on which inputs, under which policy, by whose authority. Decisions become reproducible and independently verifiable years later: audit and oversight operate on the runtime record itself rather than a reconstructed narrative. It is operational traceability, not a legal instrument.

Do we have to replace our existing AI platforms?

No. MuSIC is vendor-neutral and sits above your existing stack: models, copilots, agent frameworks, data platforms, and business systems. The decision layer governs and proves what those tools participate in; it does not compete with them. Most engagements start by governing decisions that flow through the platforms you already own.

The Narrative: The Decision Economy

What is The Decision Economy?

The strategic framework behind the practice, and the title of the book by founder Thomas Holmes. As intelligence becomes abundant, enterprises delegate more decisions to software, AI, and agents, and competitive advantage shifts to decision quality, speed, consistency, and trust. The Decision Economy describes that shift; SynergyPartners helps organizations operate within it; MuSIC provides the control plane. You do not need the theory to buy an assessment, but it explains why the work matters.
